I purchased SO6 over the weekend, having not played the game for nearly two years, and I find that a lot of trainers and jockeys have the wrong first initial. I set out to resolve this issue myself but when I go into my files to - Starters Orders6 - Data - there is nothing but folders named '1' '2' and so on which are empty. Can someone help me with this as it is effecting my enjoyment of the game? |

We have hit another slight snag. For some reason, when I try and save the file after I have edited it it tells me that 'Access is Denied'???? |

Copy and paste the file u want to change on to u desktop and change it there. Then in the folder change the file jockeys and put a x on the end and put the file u changed back in. ![]() |

You have to change the permission for the files you want to edit. Change the permission for the folder that the files you want to change reside in. So if you want to edit the jockeys for the UK game go to . . . Program Files > Starters Orders 6 > Data > 1 Right click the "1" folder and then select properties. Choose the security tab and then select user (or administrator - not sure which) and check allow for "full control". Choose apply and now you should be able to make and save changes. |
