Hi guys, am new to Starters Orders and just wondering how am i meant to know which jockeys are the best, outside of my knowledge of them in real life? do they have ratings etc? how much of an impact do jockeys have on the races in the game?

Through every version of the game including SO6 the 5 jockeys (maybe a couple more) that are at the top of the jockeys list when you start a new game always perform better than the rest. These jocks usually strike between 17% and 20%. The rest of the jocks usually strike at a 13% to 15% clip.

Have always been hoping for a better jockey system with jockeys having styles of riding they excel at and perform poorly at and also jockeys who are obviously less talented.
