S06 Help for current and future players
Would it be possible for users of starters orders 6 to add help as to how to play the game? It may sound silly but help on this forum doesn't seem to occur with any real help, without offending anyone. Maybe include screenshots to assist? Let's hope I get some help!

What kind of things do you want help with?
There are lots of guides on the forum, though some need searching for now as they've dropped down the forum. The ones that relate to SO5 are relevant for SO6 as much of the horse management is the same. I, and others recently posted guides on how to get good horses/breed good horses for flat and jumps.

viewtopic.php?f=19&t=10445Here is one example of a thread where quite a few people wrote some really interesting, insightful and helpful things for new players. I also find (as frustrating as you will probably find this) that it is better to start one or two games and play through pressing different options, trying different breeding combinations, pressing different buttons, different betting options, race types etc etc is really the best way to learn about the game.

Many thanks for the reply. I haven't started the game yet so wondered if you and/or others could post screenshots suggesting how you could help, how to edit schedule etc?

Re: S06 Help for current and future players
Again loads of people have posted screen shots, but they'll take a little searching for. A good place to start is PJRhode's threads, he nearly always posts screenshots. He's also made a video of his Grand National horse which is lower down on this page.
Again for editing schedules, I doubt anyone has posted screen shots, as doing it out of the game is painstaking. But there are many comprehensive guides in the Game Mods section of the forum. If you want to play with editing schedules in game you press the grey button on the bottom right of the first menu screen you get when you open the game (after the 'press space' page) and you can make a flat, jumps or combined schedule. Though I will warn you I have tried and though I have been successful in previous versions I can't get my schedules working in this version. You can add or remove races in the schedule editor and you can test it by opening a new game, selecting your schedule and pressing the 'shift' button when you press the 'start game' button, this will autorun 10 seasons. If the game doesn't crash and field sizes in feature races are still good then your schedule should work in the long run. As I said, every time I tried to edit the jumps schedule by adding most of the feature races the game crashed. I didn't have the patience to keep trying so gave up and put up with the default one. Or you can download one of the ones in the Game Mods section that other people have made which are comprehensive and tested.

Thank you, Do you know if you can create your own races or do you choose which races you can add?

Re: S06 Help for current and future players
You can create your own if you create one out of the game.
You can only use pre-existing ones if you create in the game's editor.

Re: S06 Help for current and future players
I don't know. I don't bother doing that. As I mentioned earlier, lots of people have written comprehensive guides. They'll be in the Game Mods section.
