It is hoped the next patch will contain some improvements we are currently working on along with a few other fixes. These are PC only. The visual improvements will probably require dedicated video cards (higher spec PC's) but can be turned off for users with lower spec machines: Shaders: Normal mapping. A subtle effect that gives a little more depth to textures. Depth of field. Another subtle effect that softens objects in the distance. Simulated weather. A significant improvement on the current static sky box. Clouds will pass and cast shadows, Storms and evening sky's will be possible and even lightening may return. A quick cheltenham simulation has been uploaded to youtube: http://youtu.be/Ct9qf-5-gtc. Be sure to turn it up to 720p HD mode. |

Wow, it looks amazing. Great work, nice to see the Cross country course there too. I saw new silks for Dodging Bullets in the video, will they be in the game game patch with other new designs or was that just a one off for the video? |

The Dodging Bullets and Sire De Grugy silks will be in. The Cheltenam course is a modified one based on Bobsworths effort posted on the Development forums. It now has five courses. Two hurdles, two chases and the cross country. |

Here is a quick fly-by of the cross country course along with a clip of the runners going over the bank. It's not perfect but works well enough. As mentioned elsewhere the cheese wedges can't really be done and instead a long bank is used. http://youtu.be/hLWDtn68LzY |
