Any reason why in every race the jockey drops the horse right out the back and then the horse starts to fly at the 2f pole only to finish a fast finishing 4th or 3rd!! happening too many times! Im running the horses over the right distance and what it is bred to run over

Are you giving your jockeys instructions on what tactics to use during the race, or just letting them decide? If you're not giving instructions, try that? Depending on the distance and horse, even pace might be a better way to go. Alternatively, your horse might actually want a longer distance. Their breed distance indicator isn't always accurate - it's just what their breeding says they should be suited to, but it doesn't always end up that way.
Also, check your jockey's notes after the race. Is he saying the horse wanted a longer distance? He should also be telling you what tactics he used. The first segment of the jockey notes is always something like "Held up." or "Ridden handy." followed by another comment or two.

Good luck with your jockey problems St Nicholas. Let us know how you get on :)

I get this happening to me a lot too, I've had a load of horses beaten as they sit at the back and come flying through to earn a place. When I step the horse up in trip it is too far and when I tell the jockey to race more prominently the horse doesn't run as well as it can and fades.

My only hope is to try and breed it out of them and i'm trying to breed them with a few front runners that I have.
