Hi, I have increased my stables to 16 horses from 11, but since doing this the form and fitness of my horses has dropped really badly. What should i set the following at: Staff Level and Staff Wages - Low, Mid or High? Feed Quality - Low, Mid or High Grade Paddock Start - Yes or No Thanks |

For a long time I had my staff and wages set at low and mid for feed quality. I was still training Group 1 winners like that. Do you have much prize money in the bank? - I am thinking from going from 11 to 16 and with a limited budget - you have bought lesser grade horses (quantity over quality) Or are you not giving them enough rest between runs??? Or are you placing them in an appropriate race class???? Otherwise I am stumped as to why this could be happening. Do you manually train the horses or are they auto-trained? I am unsure of paddock start. |

As it sounds like your still in the early stages of a career you should try and get yourself some cash, the easiest way of doing this is by entering some of your better horses in conditions races which always seem to have decent prize money, there are plenty of them around for horses that haven't won group races ect. Just give them around 2-3 weeks between runs as running them too frequently can ruin them. This works perfectly for horses that are rated in the 90+ bracket. I'd say once you start making plenty of money put your feed quality up to high and staff level too. |
