Re: Can anyone help with this colt?
Ok firstly - I'd drop it back to a Class 7 race - 1000m and keep it there and slowly make it's way through the grades. I doubt it will get any further than 1000m. Battling Qualities and Cruising Burst are low and are probably going against it. Also what is it's barrier performance like? How are you racing it? 'Front Runner' 'Hold Up' etc????

Thanks for you quick reply NPG, I'm not quite sure about the battling Qualities and Cruising Burst, my apprentice never ran him as front runner, either as a stalker or hold-up. I'll give it a shot in C7 1000m and see how this colt progress. Cheers mate.

Yeah, this colt has won 2 race and a placegetter at Class 7 but not so impressive when this colt won that

I guess you'd want more form out of a 3yo than what he is showing. Frustrating I bet! If he hasn't made Listed by the end of the season, probably best to let him go?

I didn't let him go, instead i retired him to my stud and try to breed a new potential. 1st and 2nd bred was failure, the stats are above my expectation but the performance was not so good. Here's my 3rd bred from Rippling Ring. I'm quite happy that she's finish 3rd in Debutante stakes!
