Post jockey AI
I'm so crazy about this game, I just don't get some of the jockey AI -- does anyone else experience this?

All of the jockey decisions seem to be so smart as far as where to place their horses early, when to push the pace, etc, but I'm still confused as to how they act when they change paths.

AI jockeys will angle their horses out for clear running room turning for home and then suddenly shift all the way back in toward the rail once they straighten for no good reason. They're constantly in the clear and moving two paths outside on the backstretch only to immediately come back inside right when I'm trying to pass inside them. There is no good rhyme or reason for how they choose paths to run in, and it constantly baffles me to adjust to their moves in the stretch only to have them reverse them, cutting me off in what would be a DQ anywhere in the world, just to put themselves behind a wall of 8 horses.

lol :-)
it is a mystery.......I always thought the reason why my horses cut back to the rail was because I had set them to run against the rails.
