 Exporting a horse with different riding instructions

Post Exporting a horse with different riding instructions
I understand you can export the same horse with different riding instructions to trial which is best. Are you able to this in SO6? Because I can't work out once you have renamed the horse's file in the export folder, how you get to trial the horse :? or I'm doing it completely wrong..

there is no way to get horse files back in the CK as far as i know
