Hi,

I have seen various posts about Jockey Silks.

I am asking for my son (8 years old) as he really wants to design his own for his game if possible and he has seen some Jockey Silks by someone called Simpleminds which he likes, as he loves Purple

I also need a simple guide on how to do it. Thanks

Sorry Longface I don't do Jockey silks I built Course's but I can point you in the right direction I have had silks made for me by Steve I don't know if he makes them for everybody he goes by Teleprompter also Mjtags makes silks here is the topic you need.

There are instructions on how to put them into the game.

There are quite a few with purple colours so just choose one of those from the drop down menu in the game.

I have looked at the files and the colours look perfect.

I am still unclear what I have to do to download them and the bit about making sure about backing up my old files, as I don't want to loose anything and my saved games

Probably best if you back up your files first.

Follow the steps to find your jockey folder and Bmp folder in your game.

Jockeys folder:

Program Files > Starters Orders 6 > 3D > race > 'jockey' folder.

BMP Folder:

Program Files > Starters Orders 6 > gfx > tables > 'bmp' folder

Copy them and put them in another folder on your desktop or in your documents folder - maybe call this folder SO6 Mods Back Up.

When you have done that let me know.
