Hello, I am still in the learning process, whenever I visit the auction, what exactly do you look for?

All depends really if it's for fun or serious m8, at the moment i am having a fun week of buying every female under 10 just to breed with my best males for a laugh to see if anything half good can pop up - you never know lol. or for more serious play best to look for group winners (not very often) or anything 2-5 years old with at least 75 rating but like before i'm sure the more pro players here can give you a more accurate tip that will top mine by a long chalk, i only play for fun and learn from my many mistakes

the game must know what i'm up to because in nearly a whole season the highest rated on auction has been a 62!! well.....looks like i'll be breeding for a schedule specifically for donkeys

One good way to start a game - Check the easy setting so you start with 5 horses and auction them if they are useless. Skip the day of the auction - do not watch it. You get way more money for your donkeys if you just skip past the auction day. With money in hand visit each days end of day auction and look at the Seller winners for sale. Look at the form of the race and look for a horse who won by daylight and easily. A - (minus) winning time in the race is usually a good sign of a horse you can have success with. These horses sell for cheap so you will still have some coin left after the purchase.

I also look for horses that have been running over too short a trip. I've found a few horse who have ran ok in decent 6f maidens/handicaps but is bred to want over a mile. Ended up winning a few pattern races and put them into the breeding barn.
