Hi guys. I been reading the forums but cant find any information on transferring a save file horse into your game for breeding. For example if I wanted to use one of my current horses in the league, could I save the file then transfer this into my game for breeding? if so, how do I do this? It would be great if there was a you tube video to show you how this can be done. Thank You. Colin. |

If you Retire your horse to game pool you can transfer it into another game that's why people save the ttf file so they keep all the best horses for breeding and transfer them onto new Games to use for breeding. Have you saved your horse to the game pool at the end of their use to you? I follow a routine where I run my horses from 2 to the end of their 4yo season. I save the game on the last day of the season. I then retire my keepers to the game pool via the horse options box that every horse has. The horses you save to the game pool can be found in a file named "TTF" in the saves folder inside the Starters Orders 6 documents location. Make a separate folder in the saves folder to hold backup copies of the TTF and also for insurance the HDB (exports) file. Every time you add horses to your game pool make a copy and save it to the backup folder. You want to use the horse in a new game? Sure we all do. Start a new game and then navigate to the Horse Transfers tab on your main screen. Pick your horse or horses (max. 6 a season allowed) and transfer them in by clicking their name and then clicking "import this horse into game". You must be vigilant when transferring to save your files. After transferring horse(s) into a game save your game. Now go back the backup save of your TTF and make a copy of it and paste it over the main save TTF file. This way you have the horse(s) you just transferred in back in your game pool file. |
