I am playing SO6. In the midweek auctions, is there any way of getting a rough guide as to the calibre of an unraced 2 year old? I know you can see if they are from a group 1,2 or 3 winner, but often this has no bearing on their final price. Any tips? |

Unfortunately not, as far as I know. The price they are sold for also doesn't seem to be a useful guide to their ability. |

My tip would be don't buy them until money is no object; so when you have billions, then buy them all. 99.9% will be back in the next auction. |

Totally agree with Josh! With mid week auctions the unraced 2yos tend to be stayers and not of much use to you until they are 3yos. |
