| Post subject: | The Thing I Hate Most in SO6 |
First of all let me say I like playing SO6 and get a great deal of enjoyment from playing the game. I decided to start a new game and do some breeding of 5f horses to race in the league. I had a few mediocre 5f mares and bought what looked like an excellent stallion at auction. All went well for the first 6 seasons and a couple of the horses I bred were quite promising. They were easily beating the 5f horses I had previously in my stable. Then the hing I HATE happened. I started the next season and all my 5f horses in the game were changed to 6f horses. I tried breeding these 6f horses and about 50% still performed well over 5f but the others all seemed to go best over 6f. So I carried on breeding the 6f horses for another 8 seasons and then it happened agiain. My 6f horses were now 7f horses. At this point I gave in and deleted the saved game in frustration. I have noticed this kind of thing happening in other games, but never every horse in the game. I probably have never noticed it quite so bad before as I normally play a larger saved game with horses that go over all distances. |
