She (Soviet Song) is a transferred horse from another save, and this is the first time I've beaten the great one over a mile (did once beat him over 10f on another save). Both horses entered the race unbeaten and I knew Frankel would have us for speed, so I settled out in the rear and went through the gears and kicked on from 4 furlongs out. We built about a 5 lengths lead on Frankel at the 2 pole and whilst he closed I knew my filly would have the stamina to hold him from that position. 10 lengths clear of the 3rd
Awesome race!..... Hopefully, her speed bar will fill out at 4, and no doubt she'll end up racing 10f. (you'll see by her breeding she is sired by that horse I posted a picture of the other day - IE, the best sprinter I ever had)
