Post subject: | Simple Training Mode |
Hi I have a simple question (have only played the game a few times.... a long break since Hooves of Thunder). When setting up a new game, the info provided next to the 'Simple Training Mode' option states 'Horses always primed and ready to race'. But during game play, fitness and condition vary over time, and the 'head lads comments' frequently note the horse is jaded and needs some time (i.e. the game play remains realistic in this respect). So I guess I'm just trying to work what the simple training mode does and does not do. Cheers |

A horse will need some time to recover after racing, normally at least 2 weeks, "Simple Training Mode" means you do not need to manually manage the fitness and condition levels. These will recover automatically in time. Allow enough time between races for the condition bar to reach maximum for best results. |

That's what I suspected, but was concerned by the contradictory statement in the game setup screen. Cheers |
