Post subject:  Different stats for same horse

Im just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.
I have had a number of horses which when on the training screen and i move my cursor over the grey i icon it shows the horses stats to be whatever, and then when moving the cursor to a different horse and then back to the original one its stats have changed. It was getting me really confused because I want to know which set of stats is true to my horse!!

Any help would be appreciated

I've noticed this but only on 2yo which will have the potential to be classic and turf horses at 3, it usually happens from August onwards, I just us this as a sign that they are strengthen up and starting to develop.

this happend in so3 also would be nice for mark to clarify which stats do we beleve as i have a 2yo once i click on him hes a 7 furlong horse when i click on him the second time his stmina jumps and he would get 1m2f+ and then you click again and we go back to the 7f stats i hope this is just showing the horses potential but i dont no the answer only mark knows this

Not only in SO3 but this was also happening in SO2. Evey time i have a 2yo with 7f speed and stamina bars i always go back and forth a few times just to check to see if it changes to 1m1f stats. If by chance, the stamina bar increases even if the stamina bar decreases again then the horse definately wants 1m1f.

yeah!!thats why i posted this. I had a horse rated 130 at start of his 3yo season. His stats fluctuated wildly when clicking on him , even on the same day. One set said 'champion' and the other said 'average' basically. He came 2nd in derby and never won a group 1.

I wanted to post another thread really because i dont know how this 130rated horse won nothing major!!!!!i tried everything i cud think of

He means visually. You can sometimes look at a horse's stats and think this is going to be a special horse and vice versa. The horses that look better stats wise though are always duds.

yeah guys sorry i meant visually, like when u look at your bred 2year old and think wowza your gunna win me loads of group 1s. I also hate it when I have a horse running like a donkey who sell and then chins one of my horses for his new trainer over the same distance!!

is anyone else getting ridiculously excited for the cheltenham festival this year btw?

Yeah Im a fan of both mate to be honest.

so as a flat racing fan how do you feel about 3yo such as zarkava and sea the stars being retired and not allowed to continue racing?? I would of loved to see sea the stars run agin this season and maybe go and dominate the american horses in the breeders cup!!

Got any tips on who to follow this season? do u think st nicholas abbey is a good thing?

To be honest I'm not overly bothered, okay it would have been nice to see them both race on at four but they've left a legacy of their greatness and we are now left wondering who the next big thing is.

St Nicholas Abbey is expected to be a good thing, however I'm not so sure if I'm honest. He's been quite impressive to date but there are a few horses out there that can beat him I reckon.

Tips on who to follow is always difficult, and I'm currently in the process of writing a Horses to Follow book but a few which are worth keeping an eye on are.

Alainmaar, Rainbow Peak, Strawberrydaiquiri, Nouriya, Dangerous Midge, Field Day.

They should all pay there way throughout the year.
