Starters Orders 4 is due to be released on the Apple Mac App store on Monday.

There are some important differences and the following features are NOT in the Mac version:

No online league play/Construction kit.
No user schedule creation facilities.
No Jockey mode.

The Mac version uses the same updated version of the SO4 simulation engine as the iPod version. It contains significant optimizations and the exported game objects are simply not compatible with the PC version so it would not be possible for Mac and PC horses to compete in a league. That is why there is no kit. Also, until the Mac is proven to be profitable development costs had to be kept down. Hence the cutting of the schedule editor and the Jockey mode.

The flip side is that the race sequence contains a few improvements.
