Without having to download schedule, what is the best way to plan a potential Derby winners career? |

I always go for the Dante with a 'challenge earlier' command, and then go for the Derby. I find to win at Epsom you need a horse with good pace, and often you will see horses win over 12F at Epsom and nowhere else, this is because it is a very easy course to get on the game (very different to real life). |

For some reason, I have a great record with the Oaks at Epsom in my current game(something like nine wins on the spin) but I have one Derby win. The foal from my one Derby winner is also from my best Oaks winner, currently as a 2YO with a 10f maiden win at Epsom on his debut. Hmmm, actually looking forward to getting back to work tomorrow! |

This is my record in the Oaks at Epsom, I was slightly off with the nine on the spin though! A few of these have gone on to win the Irish Oaks and Yorkshire Oaks. ![]() |

Won my first Derby by going for Blue Riband Conditions Race at Epsom with challenge earlier tactic. Underated for Derby and won at 33/1 by 4 lenghts. I ran another horse in the race who had no prep run for won Saint Cloud Group 1 as a 2 year old. He finished 4th. Derby winner going for King George and horse who finished 4th is going for Irish Derby. |

The Oaks is probably the easiest group 1 to win on Starters Orders 4, and I have no idea why. ![]() |

the oaks very very easy to win and the derby is also easy when i take my derby/oaks winner to breeders cup turf majority get beat the breeders cup turf is the ultimate test for a 3yo mile4 horse its a different league even tougher than the arc to win |
