Post subject:  Pre-Season 2yo auction

Hi guys,

So I've completed 1 season (jumps only)

I've got just under £900,000

Made my money legitimately from betting, followed the best horses and lumped on when I felt confident. The "notes" is such a valuable tool and I recommend it too anyone. Going into cheltenham I had around £300,000. I prefer betting on the grade 1/2 races (not handicap) and I had a couple of festival bankers. Lost a couple of big bets too along the way but generally I'm confident in the form. I find that occasionally first price shown can be a bit too "nice" especially when a horse runs in a weaker race non handicap and I think it should be odds on but isn't so I've done well out of those instances.

Anyway I need advice because I don't know what to do with my hard earned money???

(I know there's people who are multi-billionaires etc but this is a lot for me here)

I could wait another year and try win more or I could invest up to half my money on just one 2 year old.

As the general word is not to bother buying cheap horses...

PLEASE HELP!

personally mate, i would look in the claimers and try to find something thats highly rated in the post race austions. the pre season auctions are SERIOUSLY hit n miss.
So i would keep looking in the after race auctions and try find something a trainer is gettin rid of too invest in.

yes if you went the 2yo route you could buy 10 450k they all could be usless or you might find 1 or 2 half decent horses
but just to buy 1 2yo the odds are stacked aggainst you finding somthing decent
