hello there im a newbie at this game, so i dont know where to start...

i love jumps racing so i started the game with jumps schedule and simple training, should i train them when ingame also??

Welcome. Personally I believe the game is better doing your own training, and more realistic. In simple mode I understand your horses are always fit and ready.

Best way to learn first off is to give it a go and see what happens. It depends upon the horse, but I always thought give it a go and see how I get on.

whats easier flat or jumps racing in terms of winning horses?

Flat is easier definitely but it depends which part of racing you like the best. But you should have more success quicker with a flat game. Search the forum and on this general discussion page for more tips and ideas, I think that there have been quite a few posts about this recently.

Hi there,
New to this also. (i played a bit of Starters Orders)
Having seen my brother-in-law play it the other day, i d/l SO4. Ok. Great you say, but heres the thing...
Flung 3 horses into the Dubai an "YEY" 1st and 2nd
The jockey riding the winner said it was a machine !

P.s. when i figure how to get screen shot i will post it up.

Foreign races are far too easy to win in SO4. Try it at Goodwood or Royal Ascot, and you will get quite a different result!
