Switched from what? 1m 1f?

Judging by the stamina bar, he looks like a miler to me.

I had a couple of other milers in his year, both of which showed much more promise. I entered him in the 2000 Guineas, and he weakened and finished 15th (my other two came 3rd and 5th). I dropped him to 6f for a conditions race and he hacked up, but when upped in class, he didn't have the pace. I then thought I'd try 1m2f, and he finished a close 4th in a Group 3 but found nothing at the end, so dropped him back to 1m. Needless to say he has now easily surpassed the other two.
