Does anyone actually use them? i've got a horse that keeps running freely, not really sure if these will help i've never used them before.

I only use them if i feel they need them, but even that is very rare.

how do you determine if they need them? also i'm really struggling to find a group 1 winner in my last 2 lots of 2 year olds, next year sees my 2 greatest horses ever give me a 2 year old amongst others.. Not sure what to do..

I sold quite a lot of my horses, just raced up against one, quite surprised as it was shocking at its recommended distance.. Turns out when selling it, they've turned it into a 5f/6f horse and has won 4 G1's as a 4 year old. :( need to be more patient like you said..
