Do the AI owners ever lose their jockeys??? Would love ruby or AP but no chance as they and most other top jockeys are retained. |

I'm not sure if they ever lose their jockeys, but a workaround would be to amend the files so that your preferred jockey isn't retained by anyone, then you can use them from the start. |

Is there any way in SO5 to change the jockeys names or take away their retained status? |
