If a horse have not reach its full potential rating (ie. light green bar shorter than dark green bar) and horse is sent to breeding barn. Does anyone knows if it will affect the quality of offsprings?

I found there have been posts discussing no significant differences noticed if you send 2 year olds to breeding barns in SO4, but now with SO5 additional stats, I am wondering if anyone notice any side effect if horses are retired before they reach their potential?

Any observation is greatly appreciated.
