I've noticed this aswell. A horse ran in both the Dubai Duty Free and the World Cup.

This seems to be a small issue with preps, and I think it's on Mark's list of issues to be looked at. It seems to only happen occasionally, when a horse is entered in a prep race, then runs well and is entered for the target race, despite the fact that it's already entered for another race on the same day. Ideally, what should happen is that the horse should be entered for the target race and removed from the other race that it had been entered for.
