I have the feeling I've bred a monster!

Doesn't win this impressively every time but depending on the pace it just bolts.

How does this compare?

Cheers

Don't know at 2 yrs as I've given up trialling at that stage. Too many horses that are not close to max potential to tell which ones will run well. Also some 2 yr olds are already maxxed out on potential and don't gain much.

Bearing in mind I've been concentrating on under 8f, this is the best I have at 3 yrs.

I have a gut feeling that these standard times in SO4 are still what to aim for in SO5

TIMES
1000m 5f – 57.5s to 57.0s
1200m 6f – 1.10.50s to 1.10.0s
1400m 7f – 1.23.80s to 1.23.30s
1600m 1m – 1.38.80s to 1.38.40s
2000m 1m2– 2.7.50s to 2.7.0s
2400m 1m4 – 2.33.50s to 2.33.0s
2800m 1m6 – 3.5.80s to 3.4.80s

Certainly below 1m I'm within .5 to .8s within the higher in the range except at 7f where I've seen runs of 1.23 flat. I really don't know why the 7f times are an aberration. It's certainly not by plan but going on what's happening there I'm trying to replicate that at the other distances. The plan is to do that consistently below 1m and then aim for the longer distances but I don't know I ever will have enough time to do that! :D

I haven't really been testing my 2yos, this was my first race
