havent tried yet but will let you know when i do
i have mainly 2 outstanding stallions who have produced all my classic winners

time will come when sister and brother may have to come together if there is no decent game horses in barn

im gonna give it a go purely as i have brother and sister one has high potential and pretty high battling abilities while the other has high potential and very high distance adaptability so im just curious of how this would affect the horses stats

it seems to have transferred a proportion of both sets of stats over .... will update on the ability retained...... the brother and sister had 34 G1's between them this would have been more but i sent the stallion to stud at only 5yo purely to test this

yes thats me .... whos this lol

the horse has deffo retained some ability too as it just won the japenese, english and irish derbies, the belmont stakes and the arc de triomphe .......... i raced it once over 1m 2f as a 2yo and it came a disappointing 7th so put it out to grass and its come back a serious 3yo

That's a nice horse. I suspect the game doesn't penalise consanguinity and I don't even consider it when choosing pairs to breed. As others have started previously for SO4 it really appears to be breeding the best of each generation and hoping to get lucky with the random number generator producing that super horse on occasion.

The really interesting question is what the parents detailed stats looked like. Care to post that so we can see any how they compare?

I will be interested to look at the parents stats as well.

I like the distance adaptability. Nice. :P

onre thing i just noticed is how low the potential bars have gone ....these were definitely higher when the horses were in training so these may start reducing if the horses are now in breeding......could be because the horse isnt going to improve anymore now its not running

Yeah the younger the horse are the higher potential it will have but not on all occasions, just like football youngsters some have lots of potential and when they get older the just dip.

I'm giving this a try this evening with 2 of the best i've ever trained, so i'll see how it goes and post the offspring, May have left it too late on the Stallion's side though looking at the stats, although I retired the Mare earlier than I normally would hence she is rated 140 so that may even things out.

thatas an interesting stallion you have there. Very low in potential yet winning lots of G1s. Some of the offsprings are quite high in points as well. Perhaps this horse is high on X-factor.
