Post Tips for breeding out bad distances
Can anyone give any tips for affecting the preferred distances of your bred horses. I'm currently stuck with my main breeding lines only throwing out 1m1f specialists (I have seven top horses at this distance and have won every listed+ class race the last three seasons) and no matter what I do I can't seem to dislodge them (it looks like I have another four horses as 2-yr olds this year that may join the pack). I'm breeding from a 7f and a 1m4 stallion (both G1 winners), and am breeding with mares away from 1m1f (lower distances with the 7f, higher with the 1m4) yet all that is coming out is 1m1f and it's getting frustrating.

Is there anything else I can do (other than abandoning my legacy bloodlines) or am I going to be stuck at this range?

if you have a top class 1m2f stallion for example and you cross with a 6f mare and keep getting 1m1f horses try covering a 5f mare
just move distance of mare up or down to get 1m or 1m2 offspring its all hit and miss happends to the best of us
