how do you keep your owners happy get new owners and good horses in the yard when all you have is horses rated about 30 that are useless and then the owner takes the horses out of the yard and when you have an open day you only get more horses rated the same and get taken out of the yard soon after as well

This has been discussed before, the trainer game is a new thing and still needs tweaking, some players have won G1 races and still had horses removed, others have held numerous open days and attracted no new owners!

It's an OUTSTANDING idea and concept but right now it needs a lot of work to be completely playable.

You really need to nail it with the first set of horses you receive and hit some gamble payday to buy all the stable extras. This should give you a decent star rating going into your first open day. And playing on anything rating other than easier is impossible, everytime a horse showed promise it would be taking off me.

Again i hope to see this owners game really get developed as i love the option

It's a great concept but very, very hard. The best idea I've heard is the idea of assigning different silks to different horses in your stable, I think that this would add to the realism of what is a fantastic game...

I managed to buy all the stables extras and increase capacity 100... I managed a 20% strike rate but still lost all horses, Held several open days but got no interest even when dropping fees to lowest possible.
Many ideas to improve this brilliant concept have been discussed.
1) Being able to buy horses as well to show you can train, Being able to sell these horses on a 'to stay in yard' basis only.
2) A publication with advertising section to advertise training vacancies and buy/sell horses privatley.
3) Owners setting targets for their horses and you telling the telling owner targets for their horses.. sometimes a 2 y.o will be backward and you want to give it 3 runs to get well handicapped, current way with no interaction you end up losing the horse!
4) Owners giving reasons for removing horses.
Many others.. all above realistic to real life.
