Search this, there's loads of info on it. You won't get any more horses from the owner, the owner mode is a work in progress.

Up to 90 horses and got one that has won 9 group 1's just a pity I can't use it for breeding it is the best horse I have trained so far. I wish I owned one that good.
Seems a shame that good horses go to waste in Owner mode.
Think retiring to stud would be a great option in Owner mode.

Please please Mark try and sort out Owner mode, on 2 seperate save games occasions now in NH game I have had good success winning big races and left with just 2 horses for 3 seasons, in 3rd season one horse was top money winner but I still get no new horses after opening days each month.
Owner mode in NH was what I really looked forward to.

Bill it has been stated a million and one times that the owner mode is an experiment... I have even posted a bug/problem report thread. It is not the finished article, it needs hours and hours and hours more work. But as it is so much more work than the game itself Mark just needed to know if there were enough people interested to make it worthwhile. Looking at the bugs and problems report thread it's looking like its not. Or maybe people are just coming here and starting their own threads anyway even though there are many threads already for, or answering their query.

If you have a problem post it in the thread. It won't be a quick fix and it was made very clear before the game came out that it was a work in progress and Mark needed to know the level of interest before he continues the work. But if you don't post in there he will think people aren't interested and he won't fix any problems and the mode probably won't be in the next game.

I think there should be an AI stud which we have no control over. We should suggest that a horse who has reached the end of his career go to stud and he may, or may not. Then we should get any 2yo's bred by owners rich enough to own their own stud with whom our relations are very good.

I think there is more interest in owners mode than you think. Since the game was released there's always been threads asking how to do well in that mode. Also I seem to remember a lot of people saying they wanted to wait until everything was fixed with the mode before they played it

I know there's loads of interest. But Mark doesn't read every thread on here any more, so if people keep posting problems in random threads the problems will never be fixed and the owners mode will probably be dropped because Mark will assume most people don't bother with it. Whether they are waiting or not if we want this we need to help Mark find the problems, then post them up so that he knows there's an interest and will then put a lot of his time into this mode.

Please post any future problems you find in the appropriate thread, otherwise you'll never get a fix.

Sorry SC but did not class it as a bug so will post in there in future. I think a lot of players like owner mode. Thought bugs thread was for game problems in regards to making the game unplayable or crashing problems. I have said before I am not interested in League play or just getting masses of Group 1 winners, I just enjoy the game. Unfortunately most patches seem to be leaning towards the flat game and NH side gets ignored.

Read the owners mode report thread... Right above the SO5 bug report thread.

really enjoy playing this part of the game, although it frustrates me at times, i know for a fact its made me enjoy and appreciate different sides of the game, the narrow margins between a 0-65 handicap and a 0-80 is seemingly clearer in owners mode as my horses aren't all naturally own bred or bought at auction, anyway i was just slightly concerned that this mode might be written off due to lack of interest, i for one am hugely excited for the future developments

Post in Owners Mode bugs at top of General discussion page as that seems the only page that Mark reads and we need as many members as possible to post there to show interest, otherwise it will get nothing done.
Unfortunately most members seem only interested in breeding monsters for league play.
I really want Owners mode sorted as it makes he game very interesting.
It does not need to be a bug, just what you would like to see fixed.

Well done Bill, that's the spirit! :D The thread is not just for bugs, it is for small fixes or alterations too. Although if you have any development ideas please post in the Development Discussion page. I hope Mark will think it is worthwhile, but it is a lot of work so I wouldn't blame him for not doing it if the majority of people are playing the normal game for the league.

I would love to play the owners mode, the only reason I'm not at the moment is because of what I've heard about it. Of some of the main problems were fixed I for one would definitely play it.

Ubar just try it. You can always quit or start again. I think a couple of things were fixed in the most recent patch, we need more people on the owners thread to report fixes or improvements to the mode.
