Welcome Wachi.
I'd be interested to hear your thoughts about comparisons between Starters Orders and Winning Post mate.

 Re: Hello from Japan!!
Thank you for nice welcome!!
One of the big difference that I notice so far is that on "winning post" we could look at horse pedigree and not on SO5.(Correct me if I am wrong)
Also on SO5, player are owner/trainer, but on "winning post" you are only owner. This is because on Japanese regulation, horse trainer can not became a horse owner.

When you start Breedding your own horses you can look at the lineage (pedigree) but only the horses you breed and welcome to so5 the best horse racing jump game in the world

I think this could be the same for english regulations too but being owner/trainer is better, then its upto you which horses are kept or sold so you can sell the ones that are crap.

 Re: Hello from Japan!!
Hi Wachi, I know in Japan they have hundreds of horse racing games. ( with amazing graphics ).... I respect you for going outside the box ( no pun intended)...and trying a different game. I think starters orders offers the best racing simulation. The graphics are ok and I think horse racing games are more personal being played on a computer.
Enjoy !
