Just had my first G1 winner! Gamebred horse called Blonde En Blonde in the 2m4f Melling Chase at Aintree  Happy days! Miss the fireworks though  they were cheesy but they made sure you knew you'd a G1 race! Pointless thread but i'm happy about it and thought i'd shout about it haha! |

Well played mate. I miss the fireworks too! Should be something special for winning a G1. Sadly, too many people criticised the fireworks in SO4 - shame

Fireworks is well better than having nothing, having nothing after a G1 makes it seem like a normal race win |

Trophy Presentation would be better, Fireworks were ok, but i'd be happy to see a trophy screen with the Horse, Trainer and Jockey named on screen.. maybe owners names if playing owners mode. |

Thanks guys There should definitely be something, even if its just a banner across the top of the screen that says G1 Winner! It does just feel like any other race without something and i want it to be special! The Trophy sounds good, but i think you'd get people moaning that its the same trophy all the time and they want it personalised for each race lol |

I got my first Grade 1 jumps winner, got some great jump horses and I'm still on season 1

I'm using Pauls flat schedule and for the jumps I'm using a mixture of Pauls, Ubars, and Simpleminds and it works brilliantly, love racing at Pontypool created by Simpleminds, I have saved them all into one nice bundle
