So I have this filly and while her attributes don't appear all that great, she has put in some wonderful displays. I thought her 2yo performances were top notch (barring one blip) until she hit 3. 8)

She won the 1000 guineas by 1 1/4 L and then simply hosed up in the Oaks at Epsom. :)

Just wondering what next for her, any ideas appreciated? :?

Check my post i made recently about Filly Triple Crown. I entered mine into the Yorkshire Oaks after the The Oaks just to get her ready to enter the St Leger.

Thankfully it worked to plan. If you can get another run under her belt, over 1m4f, then you can assess whether she has what it take to enter the St Leger, although at present her stamina bar looks a little lacking for 1m6f.

That blip is most likely the point of the horses career where you have to really guess that she/he is ready for a more challenging distance i.e Stamina bar raised and 6f was to short a distance.

Thanks, that sounds like an interesting plan. Think I'll check your triple crown thread out.

I didn't actually think she'd stay 1m 4f to be honest, but we'll see about 1m 6f...

It bombed! Just doesn't stay beyond 1m 4f, oh well it was worth a crack.

Oh well you gave it a shot although it looked as if she may fail :(

Another thing that potential caused the horse to finish 9th in that race was due to the type of race which was an Open one, not fillies only.

I find you have to be very careful with fillies entering Open races as the Colts/Stallions are naturally better then the fillies. A Filly/Mare that can beat Colts/Stallions on a regular basis is generally a freak and well worth breeding from :)

Cheers for the tip GGBall. :)

I've played this game and previous versions for years now and I'm still learning! :?
