Post What do the following mean ..........
As a relative noob, learning as i go along on this game i would like to know what a few things actually mean.

1. Likely to prefer cut
top of the ground etc. ??

2. Horse ran a little freely

3. Horse likely to prefer cut

what are these and can you rectify the '' ran freely '' aspect

cut in the ground means >wants firm ground i believe
'' ran freely means he did not settle ran very keenly eg like frankel in his early days
horse would not settle >try a pacifier blinkers etc
might need gelding
sometimes it doesent matter what you do they never settle

I'm very sure Pj that likes cut in the ground means it likes soft/heavy ground not firm which would say likes top of the ground.

Yep, cutting up the turf with their hooves = soft/heavy.
