Post subject: | The Horse Ran a Little Freely |
I have started playing a jumps game and have noticed that every horse I run in every race gets the comment "The horse ran a little freely" I have tried a few different things but I am still getting the same comment every time. How do I fix this? Thanks. |

It doesn't make any difference, ignore it. |

Thanks SuperCat I didn't realise it was all just window dressing. I was never sure what to make of those quotes after a race as I've been told before to try a furlong longer and then after doing that I had the quote to try a furlong shorter next time. I've also had the "try a shorter trip next time" after a 5 furlong race so I was beginning to think that maybe these quotes were best ignored. The best one of the lot was when I found a listed or group race (can't remember which) for my 112 rated horse that only contained horses rated in the 70s, 80s and 90s and after my horse finished well tailed off to the 70 rated winner (rated 3 stone worse than my horse), I had the quote about my horse being outclassed. That was when I realised that maybe I shouldn't take those quotes too seriously, but I just seemed to be getting a lot of the "ran freely" quotes in my jumps game and thought there might have been something else I should be doing to fix this. Thanks again. |

As long as the jockey has done what you asked and you are happy with the way the horse ran then ignore the quotes. If you watch the race you'll see whether the horse needs further or not, it all comes down to observation and seeing how the race pans out. |
