Hi im new here,

i see all about people adding horses, updating jockeys, creating their own schedules and altering silks etc, can someone tell me how this can be done please

if you open the jockey & trainer files in wordpad or notebook you can edit them
i recommend that you dont mess with the schedules it can ruin your game

there are some good ones in game mods that dont crash your game that have been test

editing schedules outside of so5 is very temperamental

anyway good luck mate

to add i dont no much about silk editing only that it takes an age to do

cheers, but where are the jockey and trainer files??? and how do i download the other schedules? sorry if it sounds dumb but i don't have a clue haha and i meant about people creating their own silks

as for creating your own silks i have never done this but believe you need proffesional photoshp software

Do you mean to alter Names or do you want actual pictures of jockeys and trainers ?

alter names, alter retainers, add jockeys and trainers too

here double click on them and should open in word pad then save on exit after editing

When you alter names these will only show up in any new game you start will not appear in any old games you got going.

i don't have that PJR mine goes, data-1-edited names and there is nothing in that file, and there are 11 files in the data but none have anything in them :/

you are in program data not program files

the items are in programfiles/so5/data/1

how do i get into programme files, that sounds stupid i know but im stumped haha

Newbienhlover follow these instructions

Click Documents
Double Click Local Disk
Double Click into Program files (86)
Double click into Starters Orders 5 (you should be playing SO5)
Double click into Data Folder
Double Click Into Folder 1 then what PJ posted above should show up.
