Is it possible to do match races between trainers?

That way those who have breeded with each others horses, or would just like to test their horses could do so without entering the league?

If it is possible would it be something others would be interested in?

if people send you there exported horse files you can do that yourself in CK
i can send you my lge team if you are looking for horses to test

But there wont be anything like that in the Lge as I warned everyone along time ago in horse exchange thread
anyone found to have other trainers breeding lines in there horses will unfortunately be removed straight away.
the lge is for trainers to test there best homebred horses
it would be opening a big can of worms letting trainers share breeding lines in Lge where would it end
you could get groups of people dominating every race
at least this way its fair and if someone dominates it because they have put the time into there breeding op
there is no way of cheating
still plenty of winnable races at other levels

Yeah i totally agree with you regarding the league and not allowing it, it makes sense, otherwise a few collaborating would win everything and it would put off the new comers like myself.

What i was thinking was more along the lines of "friendly" matches with a small number of horses, maybe up to 6 in each race, held completely seperate to the league

its a good idea i dont know the numbers but id say majority of players looking for online play have bred there own horses for lge

It could even be used as a way to introduce new comers to online play, without commiting to a full league season.
Say once a month, a "festival" of 5 flat races per day for 3/4 days, 6f, 1m, 1m2f, 1m4f and 1m6f, around 6 to 10 horses per race.

I would be willing to put effort into organising it, but would need some help, as i dont know how it would work, in terms of having other people upload horses and then putting up the replays of the races.

Potentially could also do something similar with jumps, maybe like replicas of cheltenham and aintree grand national festivals, could even organise them so that coincide with the real thing.

i like your idea of match races..for the replays of the races i think you would need the race builder kit so you can upload the races for everyone to see..and for uploading horses i think i would just be better posting the races and having somebody put the horses in the selected race they want entered..

yes but you need a special kit so you can save the race replays when you run the races its the same as the race builder but lets you record the races so you can upload them for everyone to see..you dont really need anything like tom or anything because tom is for the league and it would probably be too much work for dave and etc. just post the races on the forum and people will email you their horses and will also say which race they want the horses in..then when you have the horse files you just need to put them in their corresponding race that the trainers have listed..but you need that kit that i was talking about so people can watch the races..hope that helps a little..there are more expierenced people that know alot more about that stuff..

Anyone want to come onboard to help put together a suggested calendar, no more than every 4th week would probably be enough to hold a meeting, just coming up with courses, distances, race names, going (maybe could do random for going, more realistic for British weather?)

a few people have the kit..but i think you would need permission from the president leonvr and maybe he would email you a kit..just catch him in the online forums he is always there..

i will see if i can get in touch with him, and will let you know when i get something up and running
