Post Can You please give some experienced advice??
Hi all,

I have posted several questions in the last few days with limites response apart from a select few!

i am assuming others are also having some similar issues??

Basically i carnt seem to get more than 3 or four runs from my horses without them having enough racing for the season which is clearly no were near enough to be competetive!!!

do you guys change the intensity of training after the race to gentle or just leave as it is??

Please reply if you know what im doing wrong

Thanks

If you are training your own horses then the reason you probably aren't getting any replies is because there aren't many people who use that mode of training. Most people use simple training. If you're using simple training then I'd ditch your current horses and buy some new ones, those who don't take racing aren't really worth pursuing.

Most people like myself play simple training mode its easier if you plan on doing the online league otherwise it would take ages to go through seasons training horses.
we get through seasons quicker so the breeding is the main thing for the league I do play the game trough the season taking in most of the racing some players just play the group races graded chases to find the best horse's to export for the league.

I do all the training and, as a guide, train horses on 'amber', 10 days before a run change training to 'red', then 2 days before they run change it back to 'amber' and leave it 'amber' until 10 days before their next run, etcetera, etcetera.

I used to stay on amber until 1 week before and change it to red, and take off red 2 days before, but I found this meant that after 2 days rest they were not always at peak fitness for the race, and horses were not always reaching peak fitness anyway, so now I do it 10 days before but change back to amber on the day before, this allow a bit of leeway and also means horses with speed training get properly fit as well.
