Post Removing horses entered in races
Hi all,

I'm a Newbie at SO5 so please be patient with me.

I have purchased a horse at auction and found it to be entered in a race at a later date but I want to remove it from that race.

I have looked at the instructions but cannot find instructions about how to remove it.

The only instructions I can find about this are:

"NOTE: There are NO PENALTIES for withdrawing a horse from a race. If in doubt how much weight your horse will be required to carry – this depends on race conditions and also other runners handicap ratings (in handicap races). Enter your horse and view the amended race field. Remove the horse if you consider the weight conditions to be unfavourable"

I am also assuming that if I enter a horse in a race and then decide to remove it I will be able to do this in the same way.

Can someone please help me with this problem, or tell me where in the manual these instructions are?

All help gratefully accepted.

By for now.

On the screen where you enter horses in to races, click the drop down button that says 'Declarations', then click and press remove horse from race (or whatever it says, can't remember off hand).

Hope this helps. :)

There is also the option of "in game" help that can be accessed by hovering the cursor over the "?" Icon on the top left of most of the screens.

Welcome to the game and the forum Plutus.

For GS63,

Thank you for your reply it is most appreciated and also thank your for the welcome.

Although I am aware of the '?' help tips I don't think it tells you there but to make sure I will look again.

Thanks again.

For Frankelnorthend,

Thank you for your welcome.

I tend to concentrate on 1 game (stable) at a time, especially as I am a Newbie.

I have discovered a sort of 'cheat' on the game but it is a little long-winded, The same applies to Greyhound Manager 2.

I will not publish it on this Forum unless I am asked for it but it is quite probable that it has already been discovered.
