hey lads i searched the forums and couldnt find a thread. so can we open this here for us newbs to learn the construction kit please?

i tried the "race builder" for first time last night also.

i exported some horses right from start of game just to see test how it all works and made a mock race with 5 horses. that was fine and i get the gist but how can i delete these horses from here now? they are not great or winners or anything theyre just used for me to try out the kit. in short they are crap lol do we delete in game or manual from folders? the race prize money and records here are not added to the horses career records?

also can i download "league races" just for testing and trying everybodys custom races or do i have to be taken part in that league to do that? im not ready to takepart yet! but would be nice to try others races and horses!

my other question is alot threads and even menus in SO5 refer to SO3,SO4 files so am assuming they are all files are cross comaptable with SO5?

To delete horse's from your C/K go to libraries click Documents Then Export then horses here is where all your horse files you have Exported to C/K just delete them if you want to get rid of them Or copy and paste into a new another Folder Name the folder like if you wanted to export later into the online league Call it League Team.

Download Week 12 of last season results here http://www.mediafire.com/download/viw7r ... _12_NH.zip then Unzip them and put them into the folder below Horses Called League races then stat up your game go to Race builder and then view races.

Well unless you're entering the league it's largely of little use

i thought the league races were races i could enter my own horses in offline for fun/ other peoples custom made races i could use for my own horses . to race angainst copies of other peoples best horses.

instead its just recorded replay videos of the league's races. which will be great for bragging rights and nostalgia of the winners but little use to the rest of us ! lol

i got excited when i saw ascot was on but then i see its the "shergar cup" sort of ascot!

dont get me wrong racing is international global sport and i welcome all the foreign stars, trainers and jocks but did we have to fix the mode?

shergar ascot international "team" which is ascot but with quirky rules ladies and gents. no real racing allowed you must stay in your own lane and not cross into your comrades lane just like F1 racing has gone!

i cant view these races as true race or form.

You can download horses from the above and export them into your CK to test against yours, I'm not sure if any made it into the league but they are probably good yard sticks to test against. Read the first page of the thread before downloading. Don't breed with them if you want to enter the league.

In addition, try to keep posts on topic otherwise it gets confusing. You can post in the Real Racing Discussion page if you want to discuss the pro's/con's of the Shergar Cup.
