As the title says i would i go about finding out how much my horse has to carry when it wins etc, i know it happens in real life of course but didnt think it was included in starters orders, also does it affect the horses chances of winning like RL ?

Sorry? I'm sure I am missing something here.....the weight a horse carries? Do you mean before the race? As in, look at the card for the race? It must be deeper than the simplistic way that I am reading your question?

You can enter your horses for future races on the declaration screen to see the weight they will carry too.

you can see the weight as soon as you pre declare/enter a horse in a race. in game. if your horse is carrying too much find another race some horses defy weight regardless. lookup Arkle the handicap system was revolutionised because of him! he was carrying 2 to 3 stone more and still winning! thats 28-42 lbs extra!

group races are level weight in general , handicaps the cream carry heavier unless the handicapper is asleep in real also the bha handicappers usualy punish irish horse more yet we still win! see last few years at cheltenham! or ask ted walsh about it! lol

in a handicap because the weights lol ill never forget cleaning up the winnings after a 40-1 e.w winner

sometimes the handicapper waits week or 2 and you can bet on a horse before hes got his penalty

If you mean weight penalties after winning group/listed races they are on the results screen. I can't remember exactly what they are, but I believe they are the same as real life. If you look on the result screen of a group or listed race (barring G1 where they carry level weights, apart from fillies/mares) it tells you at the top beneath the prize money. It will also tell you how many lbs less a filly/mare carries. It is also probably in the instructions with the game, Mark tends to put things like that in there.
