G'day people. I've only just started playing this on iPad SO4. Was pretty impressed by it so also purchased 5 for the pc. I play mostly on the pad in the five min breaks from this and that. So I'm a pretty casual player. I'm getting very confused about what I'm doing right and wrong. I understand the basics of what I'm doing but can't seem to grasp what horses stats and jockey instructions do in particular. I'm seeing some horses with significantly less skill and ability easily outdoing my horse when ochams razor is applied. Meaning that the horses seem to be same distance prefs and such. Some of my horses seem to be much better but never really show any potential. Now I know full we'll that it is simply my lack of technical knowlegse of the mechanics of the game and what each thing means and how they interact. I love management games for this very reason. I love to work out formulas and devise strategies and watch them come to fruition. For me to be able to do this I sort of need to know what I'm doing when I train or give instructions to my jockey. I take lots notes in my note book on the pad.(a little notepad attached to horse info would be a great inclusion in this game) And am seeing improved results as a consequence of this. So I'm encouraged by this. The game is awesome. I'm really enjoying it. I have trolled through all the forum and related info on developer site instructions wise. Just can't seem to find a glossary of terms. Not being a racing fan overall I really don't understand what I'm saying. So if someone can simply point me in the right direction that would be great. Thank you |

As far as I know there isn't a glossary. But there are lots of knowledgeable people on here, what kinds of things do you need defining? |
