When you breed your horses, have you ever got a foal with maximum absolute potential bar?
The best i got so far is about 80%, even when both parents have maximum bar.

Are the prefered race instructions passed to new foals?

I have only ever had upto around 90% but even below that they can still turn out monters.
As for prefered race instructions i wouldn't think so, i would think it would be upto how the horse wants to be raced tbh i could be wrong tho...

Preferred race instructions are passed genetically. Though it is a bit hit and miss which ones get what. I have got foals who want 'race handy' passed from a particular sire. Then the next sibling will want to be 'held up' from the mare. Or the next will want 'even pace'/'slight hold up'. A combination of the two.

Until the horses get REALLY good, you'll win more races sticking to their preferred instructions.

I don't think it's possible to have a full bar at two. My League two year old's have between 90-95%. They are very close to full. When u see it u will know.

i havent bread potentail bar over 90% and havent had more than 90% speed bar but have had plenty 100% stamina bars of course im only breeding jump horses so far.

i find the bars are only a guideline as ive had horse with half bars win races and lower potentails win too.

i know pj has breed horses with full speed bars and wonder how. pj?

mine so far have never topped 90%

also none of my top horse have been monsters yet.

ive had horse win 6 group wins after that or 4 good seasons they ususaly slack off and deteriorate even if there deterioration bar is good.

i only play on easy training so maybe thats why?

coincidentaly everytime ive given preferred instructions my horses do not win they run worse!

and advising jockeys to ride to the better ground also has never gave me a winning result either.

yet i win plenty more group races when i leave instructions alone

Of course it is

With the new patch for breeding post Australia-gate you don't need a full bar at 2 to maximise the potential bar at 3.

Andy that's as much as u can get at two.

U cant get a full potential bar at two. I say it was between 95 and 98%.

How big is u bar for u middle distance two year olds, mine is probably at 85%. I was wondering if u had more than that.

I'm not sure what you mean by full potential bar. As you say that's as much as you can get at 2 and I would call that 99% of 100%.

Also not sure what you mean by the bar for middle distance 2 year olds. If you mean potential pretty much all my two year olds are like that regardless of distance.
