Breeding and 2 year olds at auction
Hi there ,
I've really got back into the game lately but wanted some help with a couple of things . In past SO's at the auction you just bought 2yr over a certain amount , and it would 9/10 win a few group ones along the way and be a superstar. On SO5 i've been buying 2yo's that cost over a million but most of them have only a 55% - 65% potential bar , and tbh they really don't amount to much. So are there hidden gems that are cheap but might have huge potential or should I keep buying them over a Million and just instant resell if there potential bar is not in the 85 - 100 %??
I have also been trying to get into breeding , because of what I have said above . But because you can only have 5 horses in the breeding barn does this mean the maximum number of yearlings I can have is four plus maybe one or two if I breed with the group one winners in the external horses part. I read somewhere about a gamepool of horses or something , what is that all about
Is there anyway to get a decent number of 2 yo's into my stable ? .......thanks

Re: Breeding and 2 year olds at auction
The maximum in the breeding barn is the same as your stable number. I have had up to about 100 horses in the barn, so you can breed almost as many as you want.
Once you get breeding I wouldn't bother buying 2yo anymore, your own ones will almost always be better. I'd only buy G1 quality older horses at Auction.

The game pool wont help you at the start it is a transfer pool where you can transfer horses to at the end of the season so you can transfer horses from one game to another

Get about 15 2yo's and export them . Then use them 2yo';s on every game I start by importing them?

How do you play it mate do you import horses or just play the game through loads of seasons breeding on the way , or do you just concentrate on the league aspect

Yes you can mate thats how it works
also if you back up your ttf file in saves folder you never loose a horse in the gamepool
