Post jump rating equivelents to flat ratings ?
I cant understand jump rating being more than flat ratings. If a flat horse rating is 80 say, what would one look for as the same in jump racing? please help as I'm at a loss.

Rating decides the weight carried in Handicap race so seeing as NH horses carry more weight, that is reason for higher ratings.

Thank you for replies but as my question shows, I know the jump ratings are higher but what are the equivelent ratings against flat ratings. A 80 rated flat horse for example or 115 listed winner say!
Hoping you can help me.
Thanks
