I cant understand jump rating being more than flat ratings. If a flat horse rating is 80 say, what would one look for as the same in jump racing? please help as I'm at a loss. |

Rating decides the weight carried in Handicap race so seeing as NH horses carry more weight, that is reason for higher ratings. Bill |

Thank you for replies but as my question shows, I know the jump ratings are higher but what are the equivelent ratings against flat ratings. A 80 rated flat horse for example or 115 listed winner say! Hoping you can help me. Thanks |
