 Transferring Horses between saved games?

Post Transferring Horses between saved games?
I've just downloaded Gray's excellent UK schedule.

Is it possible to transfer horses from by previous saved game? It's only the unraced 2yo's & yearlings I would like to transfer.

All advice much appreciated.

Can only transfer over 3 year olds.

Was being an idiot.

Export to game pool and then import into game.

That said, I'm getting "General Import Error!", any ideas?

This is from so5 sometimes when you start a new game it wont let you transfer horses in just start
a new game and try again its very rare
