Does anyone else have the problem that their partner hates Starters Orders, simply because of the amount of time you spend on it. My partner gives me a look every time she sees I am playing it, I've tried to convert her but it just wont work.

Yes i had this problem in the past, and you are right.. you will never convert her.. not in a million years! My advice to anyone who shares this problem - dont talk about starters orders to your girlfriend EVER, dont EVER let your girlfriend see you playing starters orders, as far as your girlfriend is concerned starters orders does not even exist. Do nice things for your girlfriend on a regular enough basis so that when she eventually does find out (AND SHE WILL) what you've been doing the rest of the time she isn't around the consequences probably won't be as bad.

Purchased the Sims for my partner, persuade her to play on that prior to sneaking off to play Starters Orders.

My misses is happy of the piece and quiet.

This will wear thin after a while trust me, you'll have to change it up... tea + chocolate next.
