I have been playing this game quite a lot over the last fortnight, and i have found myself building quite a decent game. However, my one issue is my breeding doesn't seem to be progressive.

Yes i can breed horses of a bout 3/4 bar and they will win most races as a 2yo. But their times never seem to be anywhere near good, and also, they seem to struggle when it comes to the older races. Yet again, some have won older races, but mainly this is over sprint distances and not the milers and further.

Am i breeding to simply? I have been using my full bar 6f stallion who i was lucky enough to get at the beginning of a game & breeding him with the most expensive mares. Yes i have tried to stretch him out with 1m4 mares etc, but nothing seems to work.

Also as i have stated in another forum, getting a horse with even half a bar distance ability seems to be near impossible. I believe this to be because all the horses i am using aren't any good in this area. But if i dont have them, and dont seem to be getting any luck with the gamebreds with this, how can i get them to increase in this area?
